ABOUT THE OUTPOST​

Founded in 1995 by Chris Cagle's grandfather Rufus Owen, now owned by Vivekkumar Patel, the Outpost is the recreational axis to the surrounding Uwharrie National Forest. We provide traditional mercantile, comfortable shirts, rugged footwear and quality outdoor gear. We can also connect you to other local outfitters in the area to meet your recreational needs. Be sure to stop by and grab your camping supplies, fill your tank, your tires and your tummy en route to your next adventure.
